Observations of Zeta Herculis from 1828 through the present are analyzed. From anomalies in the period and the systematic character of the O-C residues, it is concluded that Zeta Herculis is a triple star. The third body is thought to be associated with the primary, the luminosity and mass of which are anomalously high for its spectral class. The orbit of the third body is apparently non-Keplerian; its mass is estimated to be 0.19 solar masses. It is speculated that the third body is a red dwarf.
