We investigate the properties of z ˜6 galaxies in two HST Ultra Deep Field Parallel Fields using the well-established i-dropout technique. These fields were obtained as part of the UDF-IR team's NICMOS observations of the Ultra Deep Field (UDF). They extend i-dropout censuses some 1 magnitude deeper than those performed on GOODS and to within 1 magnitude of the Ultra Deep Field over nearly double the area (24 arcmin2). The flux levels enable us to probe the z ˜6 LF to faint levels (>0.15 L*), with surface brightness sensitivites sufficient to obtain good measures of the mean object size. We report on the evolution of the rest-frame continuum UV luminosity density, star formation rate, and object size over the relatively large redshift baseline z ˜2 to z ˜6, likely the deepest such census of z ˜6 galaxies until the availability of the UDF.
