Four-color observations of YZ Cas made at the Dutch Observatory in Ausserbinn, Switzerland in the winter seasons of 1980-1981 and 1981-1982 using the Utrecht photometric system (covering 472-871 nm) are reported. The data from over 800 6-min observations in each color are presented. The orbital period of the system is found to agree with that found by Kron (1939, 1942) and others: Hel. JD = 2444632.2685 + 4.4672234. Light curves were synthesized using the computer programs of Wood (1971, 1972) and Wilson and Devinney (1971) with the photosphere models of Kurucz (1979). It is shown that the physical elements are independent of observation wavelength, and that the components of YZ Cas are of spectral types (corrected for the metallicity effects) B9.5 IVm and F5 V. The determination of the limb-darkening coefficient is characterized as poor for the hot component and impossible for the cool component.
