Recent X-ray observations have provided a ground swell of new measurements connecting the properties of supernova remnants with those of their associated pulsars. Through studies of synchrotron nebulae powered by unseen central engines as well as direct detections of pulsating sources, these observations have provided convincing examples of the standard PSR/SNR scenario as well as anomalous cases in which young remnants harbor very slowly rotating objects whose luminosity is in considerable excess of the observed spin-down power. Here I will summarize the current status of such studies and discuss specific results for several of the best-constrained systems.
