The evolutionary nature of young galactic clusters is discussed both theoretically and observationally. Attention is given to methods to be applied to the analysis of data on young galactic clusters including reddening corrections, radius and velocity computations, and H-R diagrams. Some of the important properties of the individual objects associated with the galactic clusters are considered.
