Yonsei University Observatory is preparing an observational program to catalog and monitor all variable stars complete down to 18th magnitudes in the northern sky of declination higher than -20 degree. The program will start with two 0.5-m wide field telescopes, each giving approximately 2 degree field onto a 2K CCD chip. These two identical robotic telescopes will be installed at a new university observatory site in March 1999. In order to increase the efficiency of the program, we are planing to increase the number of telescopes into four or six in near future. While the main aim is to identify and monitor variable stars, we expect to find other transient events such as NEOs and asteroids through the routine observations.
