Results are reported on Xe and Ne isotopic compositions of highly oxidized acid-resistant demineralized residues from the unequilibrated ordinary chondrites Inman (L3.4) and Tieschitz (H/L3.6). Comparisons with previous results, and between Inman and Tieschitz, indicate that, even though the basic structure of Xe-HL is similar among the ordinary chondrites and among the carbonaceous chondrites, there are significant differences in the fine structure and the relationships between these components. For instance, Xe-S was readily observable in oxidized Inman residues but not in Tieshitz, while separation of Xe-L from Xe-H occurred in Tieschitz but not in Inman.
