The advent of a series of imaging X-ray observatories enable us to observe active galactic nucleus jets and radio lobes. The electron and magnetic field energies contained in the outflows are derived by measuring the CMB /inverse-Compton X-rays with the synchrotron radio flux. Through the observations in recent years, it has been shown that a large amount of energy is transferred from the nucleus to the radio lobes by the relativistic particles in jets.
