\hyphenation{II} We present an X-ray fast-timing (0.01-16 Hz) and spectral analysis of the type II bursts and the persistent emission of the Rapid Burster, which is unlike any other known Low Mass X-ray Binary. We will report new results obtained with EXOSAT that the presence, frequency, and strength of the quasi-periodic oscillations (QPO) in type II bursts are all correlated in some manner to the spectral hardness, as are the strength of the QPO and the low-frequency noise in the persistent emission. We also found that on time scales of several hours, the spectral hardness of the bursts appears to be generally correlated with the spectral hardness of the persistent emission.
