A theoretical model is developed to determine and analyze the time lags between X-ray pulses at different energies. The Model is based in bulk and thermal comptonization of the accreting gas into the neutron star. Combined methods of Fourier and Laplace transforms are employed in order to obtain temporal information like time lags and power spectrum. While a great number of models are able to reproduce the spectral data, they are not conclusive with respect to the variability information; in fact the time modeling issue is of great importance to model the whole dynamics of accretion. The time lags can give information about the size of the scattering plasma and the spatial density profile of the scattering electrons.
