By means of Monte Carlo simulations, the polarization of the radiation reprocessed by cold matter close to the central emitting region in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) is computed. Disk-like geometry and a high optical depth for the matter is taken into account. The polarization of the reprocessed component alone is roughly energy-independent in the band 2 to 50 keV, and is approximately 20 percent for an edge-on disk. The polarization of the sum of the direct and of reprocessed components has a strong dependence on the energy, and can reach the values of 4 to 5 percent for energies greater than 30 keV. The spectrum is in agreement with Ginga observations of Seyfert galaxies.
