The results of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) observations in the 2 to 30 keV band by the coded mask imaging spectrometer instrument of the Mir-Kvant X ray observatory are presented. The observations were performed during the period Nov. 1988 to Jun. 1989. An upper limit on the flux from supernova SN1987A is found to be 0.6 mCrab in this band. The results of monitoring and spectral observations of LMC X-1, LMC X-2, LMC X-3, LMC X-4 and PSR0540-693 are given.
