We present the preliminary results of X-ray observations from Chandra and XMM of the interacting ring galaxy AM0644-741. The distribution of point sources associated with this galaxy are significantly different than the star formation observed in this system. Aside from a nuclear source, the strongest region of x-ray emission is located well inside the main ring of this galaxy away from the strongest star formation. In addition, there are two x-ray emitting regions that seem to be just outside the the main ring of this galaxy in areas with low star formation rates. These two regions may be examples of gas blowout from regions of strong star formation within the rings.
