We analyzed ASCA data in the NGC 2023 region and discovered two X-ray flare events from an Hα emission line star, Kiso A0904-105, located at about 30 arcmin to the southwest of NGC 2023. The temperatures at the first and the second flare peaks were 4.7 keV and 6.5 keV, respectively. The peak luminosities of both the flares were comparable to those of the giant X-ray flares from T Tauri stars that have been reported. After the flare peaks, X-ray intensities decreased with an e-folding time of about 2 hr. We found that the values of flare parameters were within the range of those obtained from low-mass pre--main-sequence stars.
