To provide theoretical predictions for future X-ray observations of the remnant of SN 1987A, we perform two-dimensional axisymmetric hydrodynamical calculations of the collision between the ejecta of SN 1987A and its circumstellar nebula including the ring. The collision with the ring will start at 12-15 years after the supernova explosion. The intensity of the X-ray emission will increase as the mass of ring material grows which is heated by a shock wave arising from the collision. The X-ray flux is predicted to reach the observable level with the planned X-ray astronomical satellites. To diagnose the circumstellar structure around SN 1987A with future X-ray observations, we further study the dependence of the X-ray emission on the density, mass, and geometry of circumstellar matter including the comparison with the spherically symmetric model.
