This poster will describe the results of our optical follow-up of a 227 ks Chandra ACIS observation of a 16' X 16' region centered on the Hubble Deep Field North. Our focus is on an 8' X 8' region centered on the HDF-N which has been well studied at most wavelengths from radio to X-ray. We will describe the X-ray and optical properties of the detected sources, focusing on the extent to which AGN activity is seen to dominate. We have now resolved more than 75 the sources making the XRB. We also describe the new X-ray constraints we can now place on the microJansky radio population, Extremely Red Objects (EROs), and the faint infrared sources observed by ISO. This observation is part of the Guaranteed Time program of Gordon Garmire, PI for the ACIS instrument. We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of NASA grant NAS8-38252 (GPG, PI), NASA GSRP grant NGT5-50247(AEH), NSF-CAREER grant AST-998 3783 (WNB) and NSF grant AST 99-00703 (DPS).
