We propose to perform EPIC full frame observations of two very similar intermediate polar candidates. From the lightcurve, we will identify the two periods that are expected in such systems: the orbital period of the binary and the spin period of the white dwarf. The spin period will enable us to determine the intermediate polar nature of these objects. From the spectrum, we will establish the processes responsible for the soft and the hard X-ray emission. This information will lead to a better understanding of the few objects known in this subclass of cataclysmic variables. It will also be valuable to improve our knowledge of intermediate polars in order to compare them with faint X-ray sources in globular clusters.
