We report the results of the analysis of all XMM available data of NGC1313 X-2, in particular the secular lightcurve and the X-ray spectral changes of this Ultraluminous X-ray source. We also investigated the possible correlation between the optical (HST and VLT archival data) and X-ray variability in order to discriminate which of the two candidate optical counterparts is the real one.
