We have searched for coherent radio pulsations from the new 182- Hz X-ray pulsar SWIFT J1756.9-2508 (ATel #1105, #1107, #1108, #1111, #1114, #1117, #1128) with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT) in the Netherlands. We observed SWIFT J1756.9-2508 (pointing at RA = 17:56:57.2, DEC = -25:06:26.28 J2000) for 3000s (> 90% of the source's orbital period) on MJD 54266.103 (15 June 2007) with WSRT in a tied array (non-imaging) mode, using the PuMa pulsar backend.
