The author recalls the main ingredients necessary to arrive at Coleman's result. One works in the Euclidean path formulation of integral quantum gravity. In this approach, one can systematically discuss the effects of the wormholes. However, one is aware that the Euclidean path integral approach to quantum gravity is not free from shortcomings, the action is not bounded from below. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to discuss the effects of wormhole in quantum cosmology. The next important assumption is that the wormholes are dilute. Thus their average separation is much larger than the Planck scale which is the size of the wormholes.
