Teaching In Astronomy: Time

Scientific paper

The authors describe a simple model that illustrates concepts about time
and its relation to terrestrial longitude. It also simulates the diurnal
motion of the Sun and Moon and their changing positions against the
background stars. In conjunction with other simulations this model
proves of great value to our students of Introductory Astronomy.
