Today's Shuttle missions are extremely demanding for the crew, due to increasing complexity. This is the case of the STS 111 mission, which will: We want to better understand, throughout the mission the different constraints imposed on the crew. We will be looking at the following phases of flight: For each phase, we will describe the environment, the workload and the situational awareness. The Astronaut time on orbit being very precious, we will describe why and how that time is shared between the different activities. Finally we will try to get some lessons learned from the STS 111 flight, and see how they could help us in the future.
