The very rich and relatively nearby cluster NGC 7789 has been chosen as a potential candidate for a WOCS fundamental cluster. We present broad-band photometry of the open cluster NGC 7789 to give a detailed determination of its fundamental parameters. Observations were made during 2004 June in the U, B, V, R, I filters with the WIYN 0.9m telescope in a central 20'x20' field. PSF photometry was performed using DAOPHOT, allowing for spatially-dependent PSF's and aperture corrections. We discuss the reddening and metallicity, which were derived using all of the U-B, U-V, U-R, and U-I vs B-V color-color diagrams. We also discuss the distance modulus and age, which were derived from application of Yale-Yonsei isochrones. This REU (Indiana Site) project is part of the greater WIYN Open Cluster Study (WOCS), a collaboration between Indiana University, Yale University, the University of Wisconsin, and the National Optical Astronomical Observatory (NOAO). This work is supported by NSF Grants AST-1039617 (REU) and AST-0206202 (to CPD), and the National Space Grant Consortium (to HG).
