WIYN/Hydra high resolution (R=20,000) spectra of the lithium (6708 A) region are used to study the surface lithium depletion for 169 late A, F, G, and early K stars that are photometric members of NGC 2539. Additionally, radial velocity measurements from our data show that a vast majority of these stars are also radial velocity members. NGC 2539 is a Hyades-aged cluster ( ˜ 650-700 Myr) with a WOCS photometric work in progress showing an [Fe/H] of ˜ -0.23 (we will also determine a spectroscopic metallicity in this study); this makes it an interesting comparison cluster for the Hyades ([Fe/H] ˜ +0.15), since it allows us to examine the predicted metallicity dependence of G-dwarf lithium depletion at a given age. Our results do agree with the prediction that the G-dwarfs in the more metal rich Hyades have a greater lithium depletion. We also compare the lithium abundance of the F-dwarf lithium gap, the late F/early G-dwarf lithium plateau, and the hotter and cooler stars.
