As part of our ongoing study of the dependence of G and K dwarf lithium (Li) depletion on metallicity in Hyades-aged (700Myr) star clusters, we present an analysis of high resolution (R=15,000), high S/N (200-500 per pixel) spectra of the Li I 6708 A region for 67 G and K dwarfs in the open cluster Praesepe. These dwarfs are photometric and proper motion members of Praesepe, and our radial velocity measurements verify that a majority of these stars are single star members. Praesepe's published [Fe/H] of +0.08 (which we refine) makes it a good comparison cluster to the Hyades ([Fe/H] +0.15) and other Hyades-aged clusters that we have studied: NGC 2539 ([Fe/H] 0.0), IC 4756 ([Fe/H] -0.1) and NGC 6633 ([Fe/H] -0.1). These previous clusters have all supported the predicted metallicity dependence of Li depletion from standard stellar evolution theory; Praesepe adds an important metallicity increment to these studies. This work has been supported by the National Science Foundation under grant AST-0607567.
