The inverse problem of reconstructing a wind profile in the atmospheric boundary layer using spectra obtained by sounding with continuous Doppler stations is formulated. The theoretical principles related to the development of wind profiles are confirmed by in situ measurements. The possibilities of using multiwave continuous Doppler stations and stations operating in the optical range are examined.
