The Solar System is an interesting case study for understanding the dynamical mechanisms that can perturb asteroids into radial orbits with the central star after post main sequence evolution. I determine whether the outer planets of the solar system can plausibly create a steady influx of asteroids into the inner system, thus potentially explaining observed dusty white dwarfs.
