Scientific paper

Based on a statistical analysis of the database of the US National
Transportation Safety Board, we show that space weather factors have no
effect on aviation occurrences. We consider typical logical and
methodological errors arising in this type of studies and bring facts to
show the futility of further research regarding this problem.
