In the past ten years the World Wide Web has exploded from a tool used primarily by the scientific community to a resource routinely accessed by students and the general public. The effectiveness of the Web as an educational tool depends upon how it is utilized. This poster will detail the NSF-funded program Eyes to the Future whereby teams of middle school girls are connected on-line with professional women astronomers and high school girls from their district. The goals of this program, the multiple levels of mentoring, and the hands-on science activities will be discussed and illustrated with examples from current teams of students and astronomers. Methods of assessing this program's effectiveness will also be discussed. The authors would like to acknowledge financial support from the NSF.
