Due to the low signal and strong dependence on the faint galaxies, weak lensing studies of high-z clusters are observationally challenging. The outstanding resolution and sensitivity of HST/ACS provide an opportunity to study the mass distribution of galaxy clusters in unprecedented detail. We present weak lensing analysis of ACS observation of two high redshift galaxy clusters, CL0152 and MS1054, with an overall description of PSF correction procedure and mass reconstruction algorithms employed. The reconstructed mass profile reveals the substructure within the cluster with high significance, and it also shows the locations of the mass peaks agree fairly well with the positions of cluster galaxies.
ACS was developed under NASA contract NAS 5-32865, and this research is supported by NASA grant NAG5-7697. We are grateful for an equipment grant from the Sun Microsystems, Inc.
