During a stratospheric balloon flight high precision measurements of solar spectral irradiance at three wavelengths (368, 500 and 778 nm) have been made during 4 hours. The high correlation with simultaneous measurements from the Solar Maximum Mission satellite demonstrate the solar origin of the registered short term fluctuations. Some peaks in the five minutes range may be interpreted as solar p-mode oscillations. The magnitudes of the ratios of the amplitudes at different colors are a further indication of pressure induced fluctuations of the solar photosphere. An interesting feature is a wavelength dependent shift of the phase as a function of the frequency. Between the red and blue it changes from about -8 deg at 1.8 mHz to 54 deg at 2.6 mHz (positive means that blue leads red).
