Weak-turbulence spectra for acoustic-gravity waves in a polytropic atmosphere are derived. It is shown that the sole dimensional parameter controlling the wave process is the free-fall acceleration. The forms of the spatial spectrum and the frequency spectrum of the turbulence, encompassing all the acoustic-gravity wave modes in a polytropic atmosphere, are derived, and it is shown that saturated spectra are described by the same expressions for acoustic-gravity waves in a polytropic atmosphere as for waves in water. Finally, the level of wave-turbulence energy in stellar atmospheres is estimated.
