Based on earlier (1996) VLA and VLBA observations, the water vapor masers associated with the protostars IRS1 and IRS3 in NGC 2071 appear to trace material associated both with disks and outflows. We present two epochs of recent (2000 and 2002) MERLIN observations examining the proper motions of these maser spots. We have measured the proper motion of a maser arc expanding away from the IRS1 radio source at ˜ 160 km s-1. Owing mainly to variability and the disappearance of key maser spots, however, it is difficult to evaluate the maser disks interpretation of the earlier VLA and VLBA observations.
