A general method to estimate the count probabilites of finding m galaxies in a given volume, as a function of the volume size, is presented for various m simultaneously. The precision obtained is the best permitted by the data. The method is applied to the two-dimensional CfA catalog, with m ranging from 0 to 5. The void probablity measured (m = 0) is compared with the theoretical predictions of the model published by Schaeffer in 1984. As a result, the free parameter of this model is determined to be unity, which leads to a definite prediction for the amplitude of the correlation functions at all orders.
