Using the Very Long Baseline Array, the polarization observations for a compact steep spectrum source 1150+497 have been made at two bands. Firstly, the intensity of polarization and distribution of P-vectors have been acquired. The results show that the polarization flux is mostly distributed in the core region. According to the fitting result of polarization angle at three frequencies, the Faraday rotation measure of 66 rad/m2 is achieved for the first time. After removing the Faraday screen, the direction of the intrinsic magnetic field is consistent with the direction of the inner jet.
