The Geodetic Observatory TIGO is a geodetic fundamental station in Concepcion, Chile, which has observed continuously with the geodetic space techniques VLBI, GNSS, and SLR since 2002. Being located in the proximity of the epicenter of the major earthquake that occurred on 27 February 2010 paired with the existing time series of geodetic measurements, it significantly contributes to providing geodetic observations of the seismic effects before, during, and after the earthquake. In this contribution we will concentrate on the available VLBI data. This includes the regular VLBI sessions of the International VLBI Service for Geodesy and Astrometry (IVS), which were reassumed on March 15, and a series of five dedicated sessions (TQUAK) observed March 23 through April 1 on a smaller network. We will describe the available data and the results obtained. We will also compare these results with the ones obtained with GPS.
