We present a hybrid map of the QSO 3C 147 based on VLBI observation at 18 cm at epoch 1987.85. This compact source consists of an unresolved core, an extended asymmetric jet and a large, completely resolved halo. There is an indication that the core has a small extension to the northeast in the direction of a low brightness area, but this needs to be confirmed by further VLBI data.
