A hybrid map of the QSO 3C 147 is presented based on VLBI observation at 18 cm at epoch 1987.85. This compact source consists of an unresolved core, an extended asymmetric jet, and a large, completely resolved halo. There is an indication that the core has a small extension to the northeast in the direction of a low brightness area, but this needs to be confirmed by further VLBI data.
