Results of visual observations of Eta Aquarids over the period 1984-1989 are summarized, and the effect of the altitude of the radiant on the visual count is discussed. In particular, it is noted that the activity of Eta Aquarids was stronger in 1885 and 1987 and weaker in 1984 and 1986. A formula for removing the effect of the radiant altitude on the visual counts is presented.
