Bidirectional reflection spectra of 41 stony meteorites from 0.325 to 2.5 millimicrons are presented and discussed. Only enough of each meteorite was available to prepare a single sample composed of 0 to 74-millimicron size particles. Many meteorites contain large quantities of opaque material, which results in the production of flat and nearly featureless spectra. The most common and prominent feature present is a band near 1.0 millimicron due to iron.
