At several past AAS meetings questions regarding the use of archaeoastronomy in an introductory course were asked. A novel approach using site data and the three dimensional imaging capability of the Digistar 2 planetarium projector could provide a unique answer to those questions. The use of virtual reality allows the student to visit ancient sites in a scientifically sound manner based on scientific data. This approach should help alleviate the concerns had by some of our colleagues who feel archaeoastronomy is not grounded in good science and therefore should not be included in any astronomy course. The talk will highlight the techniques used for data collection and display.
