The measurements of the radial velocities and apparent magnitudes of the galaxies in the Virgo cluster made by Karachentsev and Karachentseva (1982) are used in determining the main dynamic parameters of the system. The luminosity function of the cluster is determined to be in the range from -22 m to -13 m. An estimate is made of the transverse component of the velocity of the Galaxy with respect to the cluster. Attention is given to the density profile of the cluster, the ratio of the virial mass to the luminosity, and the relative velocity of the Galaxy and the cluster. It is pointed out that important information on the dynamical evolution of the cluster and the parameters of the gas medium in it can be extracted from detailed investigations of the dwarf members of the Virgo cluster.
