The paper proposes a mechanism of mirror-symmetry violation of the magnetic field in differentially rotating stars which involves the interaction of the poloidal and toroidal components of the star's field. The resulting mirror-asymmetric field is intensified during differential rotation and can lead to one-sided ejection and the recoil effect. This symmetry violation effect may occur during the collapse of gas clouds and supernovae.
