Vibrational transition probabilities, namely, Franck-Condon factors and r(bar)-centroids, have been evaluated using an approximate analytical method for the D - X system of SiS. Morse potential energy curves for D1pi and X1 Sigma(+) states of SiS have been constructed using the latest spectroscopic data. The value of r(bar)-centroids for the band have been found to decrease linearly with the corresponding wavelength.
