Measurements on 1 MHz wide crystal filters at 20 MHz with less than 6 dB insertion loss, 1 dB unwanted response heights, and with high selectivity and stopband attenuation are presented. Calculations show that unwanted responses in the 100,000 ohm region are required. Measurements of crystals made for these filters are presented. They show that these levels of unwanted response are achievable. Comparisons with a high accuracy reference method show acceptable correlation.
