A novel method to determine the axis intersection and offset of the
Hartebeesthoek Radio Astronomy Observatory (HartRAO) radio telescope
using GPS is described. This method allows the very long baseline
interferometry (VLB1), satellite laser ranging (SLR) and Global
Positioning System (GPS) reference frames to be tied to a single point.
