We present multi-frequency (λ3.5 cm, λ6 cm, and λ20 cm) Very Large Array data pertaining to the hard X-ray feature along the southern edge of the supernova remnant IC 443. They have revealed a cometary nebula blending with the shell of the remnant. Polarization images show an intriguing magnetic field structure which wraps around a point at the widest part of the cometary nebula and appears strongest where the tail blends with the shell of IC 443. The nebula has a mean flux density of 200 mJy and a spectral index much flatter than IC 443 as a whole. .
