The interstellar reddening curve was measured from 3860 A to 10,240 A for 16 stars with the KPNO scanning spectrometer. The existence of shallow very broadband structure (VBS) found in the data of J. B. Whiteoak was confirmed. Higher photometric accuracy and wavelength resolution than previously obtained have better defined the known VBS and have uncovered an additional absorption structure. This new structure is about 750 A wide and is centered at 1.59/microns (6290 A). The results are displayed in terms of residuals formed by subtracting a smooth theoretical curve from the observed data. A significant regional dependence of the VBS was also found.
