Estimates of various parameters are presented for the two-layer model of Jupiter's atmosphere. These include the atmospheric pressure at the cloud boundary (about 0.3 atm), the methane and ammonia abundances in the layer above the clouds (approximately 30 m-atm and no more than 1 m-atm, respectively), and the volume densities of methane (about 0.0023) and ammonia (no more than 0.0001). For the region near the upper boundary of the cloud layer, the bulk scattering factor of cloud particles at a wavelength of 0.725 micron is estimated to be 0.000003 per cm, and an aerosol volume density of approximately 1000 per cu cm is determined.
