During autumn 2007 amateur astronomers had a good possibility to observe Venus at the morningsky. The phase was very smal. With a "Watec N120" CCD camera and an RG1000 IR pass filter it was possible to observe the weak IR emission on the dark side. The observation was done with the 80cm mirror telescope at the Public Observatory Munich. By combination of the pictures from several days structures and changings on the venus surface were visible.
